Solar energy

 Solar energy is energy from the sun in electromagnetic waves. The use of this energy is renewable for up to humans, since the energy received from the Sun does not change the fact of using it. Photovoltaic solar energy is a method of obtaining electricity through photoelectric cells. It is a renewable energy source [that counted at the end of 2012, with a production capacity of 100 (GW), becoming the third most important renewable energy source after hydropower and wind power.

Solar panels can be installed both on the surface and embedded in walls or roofs of existing buildings. It also can integrate specifically talents such as vehicles, lampposts, machinery sales regions, ...

A photovoltaic system (sometimes called panels, although this denomination includes other devices) are formed by a set of photovoltaic cells that produce electricity from light falling on them. The normal setting for classifying its power is called peak power, and corresponds to the maximum power the module can deliver under normal conditions, which are radiation 1000 W / m² and cell temperature 25ºC ( ie a temperature of 5ºC).

A solar thermal panel is any device designed to collect the energy radiated by the sun and convert it into thermal energy. The difference is that these sensors are not dedicated solely to generate electricity, main function of a photovoltaic system.

A solar tower is a construction that tries to exploit solar energy by convection of air.
